STEVE JONES

Multi-hyphenate – marketing executive turned producer and content creator – Steve Jones is charting a new path for creating high profile, impactful content, and programming starring dynamic people of color in Hollywood while building his own brand. His latest projects with Jennifer Lopez and Oprah Winfrey are proof of his strategy for improving representation of diverse voices, one production at a time.

An Ohio State Alumnus, Jones built a fast reputation as a creative mind and credible interface between major brands and targeted brand initiatives, spearheading major campaigns with Coca-Cola and L’Oreal at the very inception of his career. Past clientele includes Warner Brothers Pictures (CREED), The Weinstein Company (Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight), VH1, FOX, a host of prominent entertainers and more. 

 

Transitioning from marking into full-time production, Jones most recently Executive Produced The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year Holiday visual with Jennifer ‘JLO’ Lopez, filmed at the world-famous GROVE in Los Angeles. He also notably Executive Produced OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network Presents: Inside Waco’s Wearable Art Gala Special featuring Tyler Perry, Viola Davis, and the first televised interview with Beyoncé Knowles in 6 long-awaited years. Additionally, the producer of three seasons of OWN’s NAACP nominated record-breaking docu-series, BLACK LOVE, Jones plans to expand his imprint by continuing to create quality, purpose-driven programming; allowing people to see themselves reflected in ways that push them to become their best selves.

 

Jones has also developed a passion for educating aspiring entertainment professionals on the inner workings of the industry through a panel series he created entitled Hollywood Confidential, already reaching thousands of attendees & over 500 million digital impressions. Past one-on-one guests include OSCAR Award-winning actress Regina King, Angela Bassett, Tiffany Haddish, Sterling K. Brown, Issa Rae, Snoop Dogg, and more.

An esteemed member of The Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), Jones has been featured in VARIETY, PEOPLE, and ESSENCE Magazine’s Hollywood Issue for his impact on the entertainment industry.  He’s also been a repeat guest on CNN shows “Anderson Cooper 360,” Tonight with Don Lemon,” and “Showbiz Tonight.
