KEKE PALMER

Keke Palmer is an actress, activist, music artist, author, humanitarian, and a passionate voice for her generation. Palmer currently stars on Fox’s hit show Scream Queens as Zayday Williams. She began her career with a breakout role in the film “Akeelah and The Bee” and then starred as the title character in the hit cable series “True Jackson, VP,” for which she received four NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Performance in a Youth/ Children’s Program.
 
Palmer starred in FOX’s Emmy winning, GREASE: LIVE as “Marty.” She also made Broadway history as the first African-American and youngest actress to star in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s iconic 1957 musical, “Cinderella.”
 
Palmer has starred in over 20 feature films including box office mega-hit “Ice Age: Continental Drift,” “Joyful Noise,” “Brotherly Love” and “Imperial Dreams.” In Fall 2017 she has an indie film hitting festivals called “Pimp” with rap legend DMX, it  loosely based off the life of a real female hustler in the Bronx , NY. , for the role Palmer had to gain 20 pounds of body muscle her performance is truly award worthy.
 
Among her many television credits are “A Trip to Bountiful,” (for which she earned an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special); the cable miniseries “Full Circle”; made-for-TV movie “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story”; and a six-episode arc on the second season of “Masters of Sex.”
 
Palmer just signed a deal with Awesomeness TV to partner in building out her already expansive digital brand.  Paula Kaplan (Head of Talent) remarks , ” I have known Keke since our True Jackson VP days she has truly blossomed into a beautiful young woman and we cannot wait to assist her in creating original innovative content for her millennial fan base “.
Palmer’s groundbreaking EP titled Lauren dropped on Island Records to great reviews and in April 2017 her single , “Wind Up” , prod by Grammy Award winner Sean Garrett , with a feature from hit recording artist Quavo will be given a wide release .
 
In January 2017, Simon and Schuster will publish Palmer’s first book, “I Don’t Belong To You, Quiet the Noise and Find Your Voice.” In “I Don’t Belong to You”, no topic is off limits as Keke candidly shares the many bumps and roadblocks she has faced and knows many from her generation are facing today. In this debut book, she endeavors to guide the reader to become the hero of their own story.
 
Palmer currently is in Berlin , Germany where she is filming the hit Paramount television show Berlin Station alongside Ashley Judd ,  Amy Powell, President of Paramount TV: “We are excited to have Ashley and Keke on board and are eager to begin the second season of this critically acclaimed show in the intriguing city of Berlin with our outstanding partners at Epix.”
