Around since 2015, we are happy to announce the return of our Actor’s workshop!
Hollywood Confidential—created to educate and inspire creatives of color—fosters illuminating one-on-one conversation with the most powerful voices of color in entertainment. In existence for a decade, the series has served as a North Star to those dreaming of a career in Hollywood.
Raw talent who’ve matriculated through our actor’s workshop pre-fame include Kendrick Sampson of HBO’s hit show Insecure, Shoniqua Shandai of Amazon’s critically acclaimed show Harlem, Derrick King—current star of The Gameon Paramount +, Melvin Gregg, star of HULU’s Nine Perfect Stangers, and social media influencer turned New York Times best-selling author, Tabitha Brown.
Happening in Los Angeles, join us for a day full of scene work, and advice from our special guest A-list Casting directors, Agents/Managers, TV Producers, and celebrity talent —all devoted to helping YOU receive the tools to take your career to the next level!
This class is facilitated by Hollywood Confidential creator + TV Producer Steve Jones. An esteemed TV Academy member, Jones’ notable Executive Producer credits include Jennifer Lopez’ first Holiday visual, and Oprah Winfrey Network’s Wearable Art Gala Special ft. the first televised interview w/Beyoncé in 6 years. He additionally produced 3 seasons of OWN’s record-breaking docu-series, BLACK LOVE.
The workshop will take place from 11am to 6pm. Lunch will be included. The TOTAL cost is $220.00 (tickets are non-refundable).
